Senior Aws Cloud Engineer

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer with deep, cross-cutting knowledge of AWS. As a member of the Platform Architecture team, you will help administer and scale our well-architected, multi-account, AWS Landing Zone that manages both our internal and SaaS infrastructure.

With millions of end users, Cesium is defining the standard for 3D geospatial across industries from the construction site to the battlefield, from outer space to underground. We already handle fifty million requests a day and you’ll help us scale to one hundred million and behind.

What you'll do:

• Work as a member of our Platform Architecture team to plan, build, scale, and operate Cesium’s AWS infrastructure
• Work closely with other teams to understand their AWS needs and provide them with guidance and solutions
• Work in a fast-paced continuous learning environment
• Help define our AWS best practices and create runbooks for you and others to follow

What we're looking for:

• Experience implementing and administering at least some of the following AWS services: IAM, ELB, S3, VPC, RDS, ECS, ECR, WAF, Batch, CloudFront, Route53, GuardDuty, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, and Control Tower.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with container-based infrastructure and deployments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code
