Senior Accountant and Business Advisor

A national brokerage company is rapidly expanding and is searching for a Senior Accountant and Business Advisor to Manage Financials and Handle Projects to improve and expand our company. Candidate must be motivated to work hard and make money and have at least two or more years of accounting/business experience.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains the general ledger and prepares tax reports.
• Manages 8 Office Rentals, Payments and Issues with Landlords
• Performs Special Projects with Minimum Amount of Supervision
• Prepares monthly income statements, balance sheets and segmented profit and loss statements for 8 offices. ($100M Revenues)
• Manages Credit Card Receipts and Payments
• Not Afraid of Challenges and a Desire to Succeed Within a Wonderful Organization.
• Performs general transport related accounting and other duties in the accounting department.
• A Plus if Candidate Understands the Transportation Business and Opportunities that Exist - Nationally and Internationally
• Looks for Savings and Analyzing Accounts

Desired Experience

• Hard Working, Self-Motivated, Organized, and Wants to Go Places
• College degree in the financial or accounting field
• Experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, and Office 365
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software

Compensation

$65,000 - 80,000 (based on experience) plus bonuses
