Summary: Patrols casino premises and/or guards casino posts to maintain safety and security; prevent underage gambling and casino floor access, protect assets and ensure observance of applicable laws and casino regulations.

Essential Job Functions:
Provides exceptional customer service to guests at all times.
Guards security post and/or patrols internal and external casino property to prevent and respond to security incidents.
Prevents underage gambling via access to casino floor by following identification verification procedures.
Responds to suspicions of problem or underage gambling and alcohol or drug intoxication in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
Interviews guests and employees when security incidents occur.
Contacts shift manager when security situations require intervention beyond scope of authority.
Obtains assistance for accident victims.
Assists management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
Writes detailed security reports.
Answers security calls and dispatches officers to assist per departmental standards and protocols.
Responds to emergencies in accordance with established procedures.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months related experience preferred.
Must be able to form and build long-standing relations with established and new guests/players.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate with team members and guests.
Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and proof of vaccination status is required.
Physical and Mental Demands:
Regularly required to see, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment.
Must occasionally move and lift up to 25 pounds.
Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
