POSITION TITLE: Security Guard

STATUS: Full Time, Non-Exempt, Benefited

REPORTS TO: Manager of Facility and Security

Must have or willing to obtain the COVID-19 and flu vaccine.

Employer Paid:

Healthcare: Approximately $21 per pay period

Life Insurance: Equal to one year’s salary

Position Summary

Periodically patrols buildings and grounds of work sites, including clinics. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the security field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This position also requires sitting at a desk for extended periods and requires standing and walking for periods of time in excess of one hour. Weekend hours may be required.

Primary Duties Performed

Monitor camera system

Greet clients and ensure their safe entry into the building

Monitor alarm system

Periodically patrols and up keeps grounds of building and parking lots

Periodically patrols buildings including clinics

Professionalism at all times

RISK MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE

• Adheres to PPSLRSWMO’s and department policies that ensure the provision of the highest quality and most professional services to all PPSLRSWMO clients
• Assures for the physical safety of PPSLRSWMO clients, staff, and volunteers
• Protects PPSLRSWMO’s assets from liability
• Protects confidentiality of all PPSLRSWMO clients, donors, Board and all areas of operations

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the security field or in a related area. Requires a Security license.

Requirements

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the security field.
