Security Guard Jobs

We are seeking a Security Guard to become an integral part of the team of one our clients in Concord, NC. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. Job responsibilities/duties include, but are not limited, to the following: Work alongside facility staff to facilitate and engage with youth in activities conducted within a secure facility environment. Ensuring the safety of the public, staff, students, and others by enforcing rules of conduct and intervening as needed to maintain a safe environment. Monitoring access to areas Checking location and use of emergency alarms and equipment, executing the procedures to follow in the event of an emergency; and maintaining daily records and reports. Ability to use security equipment (e.g., radios, switchboards/phones, flashlights, fire extinguishers, surveillance cameras, alarm panels, card access, or other electronic security systems). Ability to patrol, monitor, and guard assigned area, including conducting room checks and observations of youth during activities Ability to respond quickly and properly in emergency situations. Ability to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and the public to provide assistance and relay information. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Qualifications: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields Familiarity with security equipment Ability to handle physical workload. Strong attention to detail
