LOCATION: Brainerd, MN

Today, Sheridan MN offers a complete book solution that encompasses printing and binding, fulfillment, eBook conversion, eCommerce solutions, and more—all in-house, all at competitive prices.

Job Summary

Perform a variety of tasks surrounding the set-up and operation of a folding machine that folds sheets of paper into 4, 8, 12, 16, and 32-page sections. Responsible to run the continuous folding equipment correctly and according to the manufacturing ticket instructions. Ensure production times meet or exceed estimated standards and control production to ensure jobs are shipped within pre-determined time frames.

Basic Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to work with Windows type applications.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to do basic trouble shooting when the equipment is not functioning.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
• Ability to read, do basic math and work with basic tools (screw drivers, wrenches, etc).
• High School diploma or GED required
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively to all work groups.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals

• Safety toe shoes required
• Must be able to stand/work 8 hours with overtime hours as needed
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 25lbs. on a regular basis
• Hearing protection required

Hours: 2nd shift – Monday to Friday: 3PM – 11PM Shift Differential of $1.00/hour
