School Social Worker- Probationary

The West Seneca Central School District currently has a vacancy for a School Social Worker.
This is a full-time, probationary appointment with salary and benefits paid according to the West Seneca Teachers' Association collective bargaining agreement.
The selected candidate will work directly with our middle school 8:1:1 students, classroom teachers, building PPS team, administration as well as be a member of the district's Behavioral, Emotional and Social Support Team (BESST), and support the district needs and initiatives.
The School Social Worker is responsible for providing an integrated network of student support services to help children succeed in school. As a member of the Student Support Team, the primary responsibility is to utilize a child/family system approach promoting partnership between home, school and community.
Job Qualifications
The selected candidate must be licensed and certified.
Required certification: Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker and School Social Worker
