This position offers a rewarding experience to apply your nursing skills and provide essential healthcare support to students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify students' health needs and concerns.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote a healthy school environment.
• Monitor students' health conditions and maintain accurate health records.
• Provide direct healthcare services to high school students as needed, including first aid, administering medications, and managing chronic health conditions.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement healthcare plans for students with special health needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to promoting the health and well-being of students.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in the state of Connecticut.
