The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

Raytheon Technologies (RTX) has an opening for a SAP Fiori Developer (Sr. Analyst, Software Developer). Remote Opportunity.

The SAP Fiori Developer will design, code, unit test, debug, and implement SAPUI5 Fiori applications; deliver innovative, high-quality solutions to customers. The SAP Fiori Developer should have strong SAPUI5 application development and systems integration experience adhere to Raytheon development standards and methodologies and be capable of performing code reviews with peers and be able to recognize good programming techniques and correct coding problems. Work as part of an SAP Development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans for new or modified programs
• Support application upgrades
• Design, code, unit test, debug and implement SAPUI5 Fiori applications while working closely with functional teams
• Resolve open development issues and make decisions about alternate technical approaches
• Provide advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support
• Ensure that documentation is properly maintained
• Perform issue resolution and root cause analysis
• Provide level of effort estimates based on functional specifications or business requirements
• Support the change control process
• Test, debug, implement, and document fixes
• Proactively provide work status
• Follow development standards and methodology
• Work Defects
• Partner with functional teams to review functional specifications and produce technical design specifications
• Conduct code reviews with peers

Basic Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of system development methodology
• Exposure to SAP DIMP primarily in an Aerospace and Defense setting
• Typically a minimum of 2+ years' experience in Fiori development and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree or Advanced degree
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization
• Strong understanding and implementation experience using the scaled agile framework (SAFe) methodology
• Available to support on-call system support
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
• Working knowledge of the OSS process
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• US Citizenship
• Exposure to developing SAPUI5/Fiori applications

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in OData Service consumption on UI using GET, PUT, POST methods.
• Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects and other modern SAP technologies.
• Good understanding of FIORI concept, system architecture, FIORI Launch pad configuration and app integration.
• Demonstrated soft skills required for the presentation of ideas and concepts to stakeholders such as vendors, end users and senior management.
• Experience in development on WebIDE.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, presentation and negotiations skills.
• Extensive experience in HTML5, Java Script, CSS3, JSON, XML, and MVC Development framework.
• Effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels.

Required Education:

Typically a degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
