A & M Cheese is a processor and distributor of fine cheeses in the US, and is currently looking for you to fill the role as a Sanitation Worker at our Toledo, OH location and become part of our 2nd shift team. As the Sanitation Worker you will be responsible for cleaning equipment, the facility and the grounds according to company sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Uses hand tools, cleaning chemicals and equipment to disassemble, clean and reassemble production equipment to company standards.
• Power washes floor and squeegees floors clean.
• Removes and bales corrugated cardboard from production and other areas.
• Transports accumulated waste to the garbage disposal area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Cleans and sanitizes knives, wire cutters, tables, tubs and cheese carts.
• Sorts, stacks and stores pallets in the appropriate areas.
• Completes all master cleaning schedule items as required.
• Meets all safety, sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Operates industrial trucks in a safe manner.
• Uses cleaning chemicals and equipment to clean offices, warehouse, storage areas, kitchen, break rooms and restrooms to company standards.
• Keeps the exterior areas of the facility free of debris and unwanted vegetation.
• Accumulates cheese waste in “Animal Food” containers and weigh and records weights.
