Summary

The Salesforce developer position is a highly technical and creative role, focused on developing in our custom Salesforce environment. It's designed to work closely with the other members of the Salesforce team and end users to understand the business needs, estimate and plan the project work in an Agile environment, collaborate on design and prototype solutions, and develop, test, launch and maintain features that resolve business needs and enable new opportunities. Own all aspects of Force.com custom development, building high quality and scalable applications with Apex and Visualforce, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing development as the business/process changes.

Job Duties

  • Produce technical documentation that accurately and thoroughly depicts the software design and code base
  • Performs architecture design and code reviews to enforce best practices and processes
  • Design, develop and implement high-performance, scalable software solutions with CCC approved Design standards
  • Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet business requirement
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues to determine root cause and drive resolution
  • Analyze and review business, functional and technical requirements
  • Collaborate and coordinate development efforts with other Salesforce Team members, ETL Team, and Business Analysts, delivering comprehensive end-to-end solutions
  • Participate in Daily Scrum calls and status reporting
  • Provide recommendation on scope and scale of effort required to implement final requirements
  • Research and identify new technologies, tools and processes to ensure quality product is delivered
  • Participate in Sprint Planning, Project Planning and Schedule management.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Force.com framework and a command on governor limits.
  • Good experience working with Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, REST, SOAP (JSON and XML).
  • 2+ years of experience in salesforce development
  • Salesforce developer certification
  • Experience in developing solutions with salesforce declarative tools; workflows, Process builders, validation rules, Flows and approval processes.
  • Strong coding skills adhering to the best practices of Salesforce.
  • Strong knowledge on sharing model, creation and maintenance of custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and troubleshooting of Apex and integrations.
  • Strong analytical and programming skills
