Sales Manager - Oil & Gas

The Opportunity

Responsible for all sales related activities for Oil & Gas opportunities, the O&G Sales Manager will develop and maintain relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners.

Reporting to the Sr Sales Manager, their primary functions will be to drive all sales related activities for Oil & Gas customers in their defined states (US - West Coast).

They will effectively manages local channel partners (Manufacturer’s Representatives and Distributors) and maximizes the performance of these channels.

Experience Requirements

• Engineering or similar technical degree
• Desire to deliver a quality product to both internal and external customers
• Knowledge of and experience with the use of Microsoft Office and CRM experience
• Proven experience with managing the techniques required to coordinate the sale of products and services on capital projects as well as to resellers and end-users
• Experience to effectively manage a channel partner network
• Exhibit tact and strong diplomatic skills when dealing with all staff, customers and suppliers

The Successful Candidate

• Knowledge of Oil & Gas business (Upstream, Midstream and Downstream)
• Experience in the sale of engineered industrial automation products or process equipment
• High level of self-motivation, independence, and self-reliance
