About GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC GLOVIS EV Logistics America, is an integrated logistics company located in Savannah, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). GLOVIS EV Logistics America was established on October 6, 2022. Department: Transportation Reports to: Transportation Manager Summary: The Sales Manager, or Sales Department Manager, is responsible for overseeing daily operations of sales and any sales associates in the sales department. The Sales Manager must be able to plan, execute and oversee all sales-related activity by working with various customers both locally and abroad. They will work closely with other department heads like the Finance Manager, Customer Service Manager or Marketing Manager to establish a department budget, encourage sales through marketing campaigns and address customer complaints. Their job is to hold meetings with sales staff to review monthly goals, highlight new innovative ways to acquire new customers and cultivate sales pitches. They may also be responsible for attending in-person meetings with clients to renew their contract(s) or discuss new company products and company expectations. Responsibilities for Sales Department Manager: Oversees local and regional sales, promotions, and campaigns Plans and directs the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives Directs and coordinates all sales activities locally, regionally, and globally Prepares sales budgets and projections and approves expenditures Tracks and analyzes sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics. Handles and resolves customer complaints regarding a product or service. Advises distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Serves as the face of the organization to internal and external partners Makes data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation. Develops and maintains relationships with key clients. Sets sales quotas and goals Oversees and directs performance of the sales team Identifies emerging markets to find new sales opportunities. Defines and executes territory sales plans enhancing the overall organizations profitability. Qualifications for Sales Department Manager: Fluency in both Korean and English, including reading, writing, and speaking. Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Alternatively, an associate degree in business, economics, or marketing, or a related field, along with equivalent work experience. Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Products. Exceptional verbal communication skills. Strong sales and customer service abilities. Demonstrates initiative and strategic thinking. Proficient in business management. Excellent leadership skills. Adaptability and openness to change. Ability to accept and implement constructive criticism.
