The Retail Sales Associate (RSA) is the ultimate guide through the guests’ shopping experience. Hard Rock merchandise is a unique part of our business, which requires a special person to create the experience. As an RSA, you will be assuming the role of tour guide, communicator, entertainer, memorabilia curator and musician (at heart).


  • Greeting guests.
  • Entertaining guests to create “Raving Fans”.
  • Directing guests to areas/restrooms.
  • Performing opening, closing & side duties – cleaning glass, polishing brass, sweeping & vacuuming the floor, folding product, etc.
  • Handling cash and other forms of payment.
  • Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge.
  • Creating memorable experiences.
  • Maintaining proper cash drawer balances.
  • Displaying Retail product – through HRC’s visual display standards.
  • Answering the phone.
  • Making proficient sales transactions - using a point-of-sale system.
  • Answering questions - accurately and politely.
  • Determining guests’ needs - by actively engaging them in 1-on-1 conversations and informing guests of product features & benefits.
  • Suggestive selling - using proven techniques (i.e., related items, higher-quality items, transitional phrases).
  • Maintaining proper product stock levels – through retail pulls & inventories.
  • Assuring the complete satisfaction of each and every guest.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Basic Functions of the LIVE Stagehand include


  • Troubleshoot technical issues, instantly pinpointing faults and remedies during an event under Audio, Video and Lighting
  • Assist in the set up and configuration of all systems with regards to Audio, Video and Lighting
  • Support, maintain and administer key applications and hardware


Required Compentencis


  • Knowledge of lighting desk, programming of moving light fixtures
  • Knowledge of L’Acoustics KUDO line array and BSS Omnidrive speaker management
  • Video systems and formats, BETA, DVD, DVCAM, DV
  • Projector systems Front, Rear, with VGA, DVI, RGBHV connections
  • Video knowledge of TV One Mixer, Panasonic MX-50 mixer
  • Switchers/Scalers/Converters Data/Video switchers and scalers, Matrix
  • Knowledge of all Mics, types, kinds and methods of operation
  • Audio consoles, FOH, Monitor consoles (Digital and Analog)
  • Routing and interfacing throughout venue
  • Conventional and intelligent lighting


Specific Responsibilities


  • Assures the complete satisfaction of each and every guest
  • Perform daily preshow walkthroughs to ensure the venue is organized, clean and safe
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the entire Hard Rock team, clients and guests
