Safety Trainer Jobs

What you will be doing:

• Develop and lead site safety promotion, drive safety improvements with urgency, collaboration, and effective communication.
• Provide support as a multi-function SME in safety related functions such as incident investigation, machine & equipment guarding, IH, electrical safe work practices, construction, ergonomics, training etc
• Support and participate in key safety initiatives within the safety business unit
• Support site ergonomic risk reduction

Must Haves:

• Capable of developing and delivering presentations, generating effective reports, conducting applicable standards research
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and or equivalent experience 5 – 10 years in manufacturing, safety, and/or engineering
• Demonstrated experience of others managing training/development of Team Members and management in their related fields, focusing on Safety first as a priority
• Demonstrated experience managing projects requiring critical thinking (kaizen), problem solving, data analysis & verification
• Manage customer expectations and work to find mutually-agreeable solutions

Preferred/ Additional Bonus:

• Knowledge of CoHE, TaBRA , TUV
• Standardized work and EIS
• CSP certification
• Fundamental Skills certified trainer
• Knowledge of powertrain and machining equipment and processes
