Job Description
Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration and Software Testing for industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Safety Specialist. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.


Location: Kansas City, USA


Job Type: On-site, Part-time 3 days (flexible)


Contract: 6 months


Responsibilities


As our Safety Specialist, you will need:


  • A Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field
  • Report to Senior HSE&F Manager
  • Develop and distribute educational materials, inspect company facilities, and recommend corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance with established regulations
  • Work under immediate supervision


Basic Qualifications


  • Additionally, they must have graduated from a nursing school accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or hold a diploma from an accredited, licensed vocational, or community college LPN program
  • The ideal candidate should be a team player and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills
  • They must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) or (NCLEX-PN) for certification to practice in the United States, and meet the RN or LPN license requirements for the state of Kansas
  • To be eligible for the job, candidates must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, along with 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area
