POSITION: Safety Manager STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt

- Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment;
- Monitor and evaluate safety programs and adherence to safety standards;
- Head organizations Safety Committee;
- Manage, maintain, and implement the Accident Prevention Plan;
- Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses and provide corrective action recommendations;
- Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential risks and hazards;
- Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers’ health or safety;
- Coordinate with insurance representatives on safety progress and insurance rating;
- Manage OSHA investigations and site inspections;
- Manage safety LMS and develop hands on safety training programs, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with safety regulations;
- Participate in onboarding of new employees and lead weekly safety meetings;
- Manage safety records, including incident reports and safety training records;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Exceptional documentation, organization, and coordination skills;
- Experience in workers compensation case management;
- Bachelor’s degree in safety related field or Certified Safety Professional (preferred);
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates;
- OSHA 10 AND OSHA 30 certification;
- Proficient in all Microsoft products;
- 5+ years of safety management or related experience;
- Strong background in adult education or training.
- Expert knowledge in OSHA regulations;
- Knowledge of Environmental regulations;
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations;
