Job Summary: Assist the staff by performing clerical and/or patient care duties under the direction of healthcare professionals. Work may be clerical in nature but will also involve coordinating care with other team members to provide exceptional patient service. ## # Minimum Qualifications: Education: Either currently enrolled in High School as a Junior or Senior or HS Diploma/GED required.# Must be accepted into the Trident Technical College Youth Apprenticeship Program, and continued participation in the Trident Technical College Youth Apprenticeship program is required to meet the minimum qualifications for this position. # Experience: Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, etc). # Licensure/Certification:-For PCT(pre-Nursing/CNA) #A current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is not required upon hire but must be completed within the Trident Technical College Apprenticeship Program scheduled requirements in order to function in the PCT role. # A current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is not required upon hire but must be completed within the Trident Technical College Apprenticeship Program scheduled requirements in order to function in the PCT role. # Primary Source Verification (if applicable): N/A # Knowledge/Skills: Ability to use computer programs. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Requires the ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Must have strong attention to detail and able to perform data entry with high accuracy. # Other: Requires a neat, professional and mature individual with strong work ethic. # Contacts: Physicians, coworkers and patients. Contact involves dealing with sick people and servicing a patient population from birth to end of life.
