We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer to join GEHA’s RPA Solutions team as part of Digital Innovations. The RPA Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that improve business processes and enhance efficiency. You will work closely with business analysts and other business stakeholders to understand their requirements and design RPA solutions that meet their needs. This role is accountable for partnering with cross-functional IT and Business stakeholders to identify, assess and implement software robotics and process automation solutions to proactively solve business inefficiencies and address repeatable processes through automation to deliver quantifiable, ROI-based, results. Ultimately, success comes in the form of greater operational efficiencies, the elimination of unnecessary manual or high-risk work, and increased employee satisfaction from GEHA’s diverse workforce.
SKILLS
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Work with business analysts and other stakeholders to analyze business processes and identify areas where RPA can be applied to improve efficiency.
  • Provide ongoing support for RPA solutions, including identifying and resolving technical issues and updating documentation as necessary.
  • Responsible for the Design, Development and implementation of RPA solutions using the UiPath Automation suite of tools and technologies.
  • Creates automation feasibility studies, optimizing the process, and estimating the workload
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure that the RPA solutions meet functional requirements and quality standards.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation (SDD/TDD) to support automation processes, user guides, policies and procedures.
  • Owner of the RPA Solution and any reusable component(s) and is responsible for the overall quality and technical implementation of the assigned automation(s) and automation platform(s)
  • Provides input related to the technical performance evaluation for the Development staff
  • Ability to review existing RPA code packages and review for quality improvements
  • Communicates project progress and status to leadership and other development team members.
  • Ability to perform regression testing on RPA packages after new deployments
  • Follows GEHA’s SDLC while utilizing GEHA’s change and deployment tools (DevOps) and processes
  • Ability to review RPA process logs for business exception identification and resolution
  • Required to create business solutions using knowledge and application of multiple technologies and applications
  • Designs and develops reporting based on automation requirements to track performance and quality metrics. May use SQL based query languages or reporting software such as Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in RPA technology and identify opportunities to improve our solutions.
  • Proactively learns GEHA’s standards, workflows and technologies to suggest approaches to optimize automation of possible healthcare, operational or external processes
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or 4+ years professional experience in one of these disciplines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with APIs and Data Integration
  • Strong programming skills in one or more automation-friendly languages (VB, C#, .NET, C++ , Python, HTML, etc.)
  • Understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with deploying code packages from Microsoft Azure Dev Ops to UiPath Orchestrator environments preferred
  • Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar. (UiPath Studio/Studio Pro preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in robotic process automation (RPA) with demonstrable experience using one or more of these tools: UiPath, Blue Prism, Kapow, Automation Anywhere
Work-at-home requirements
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
  • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
  • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,549 - $119,851 USD.
