SummaryPerforms cashiering duties in a Distribution Center in accordance with standard procedures. Will also assist RPA and DCA’s in the department as needed.Responsibilities Perform cashiering duties including ensuring Fed-Ready status of deposit Ensure security of route cash Validate proper use of cash drop log Maintain cash reconciliation and driver deposit log Receive and verify full service bag count. Count full service cash and finalize handheld Prepare deposit for pick up by armored car service Troubleshoot handheld issues impacting settlement Research Mail Checks 10% Driver Audit as required by Internal Control Send messages to route accounting department regarding settlement issues Driver Over and Short research and resolution (cash and product/load) Review and verify end of day driver paperwork Ensure proof of deliveries are included in driver paperwork (DSD, store stamps, etc.) Additional Responsibilities Prepare driver paperwork for Imaging Maintain Missing Documents Log Prepare IFTA report Reconcile Fuel Reporting Other duties as required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 2-5 years experience in automated office environment required Experience in cash room or banking environment preferred Basic computer and database application skills Accurate data entry Strong organizational skills Moderate level excel skills Physical Requirements: Standing (80%), bending, walking and kneeling. Daily lifting of up to 50lbs.
