We Are Hiring For The Following Positions


  • Part Time Evening (3:30 p - 11 p)


Job Responsibilities


  • Makes written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director of Nursing as necessary, concerning the operation of the nursing department.
  • Makes emergency and critical care decisions involving residents and staff; keeps nursing and The Oaks administration informed.
  • Plans, manages and evaluates nursing care on a designated shift by current policies, regulations, and guidelines that govern long-term care facilities.
  • Ensures that nursing staff provides the proper care as stated in the care plan regarding treatments, medications, diet, rehabilitative nursing care, and activities of daily living.
  • Delegates to each medication/treatment nurse the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform his/her assigned duties.
  • Assists with the development and completion of the resident assessment (MDS) by regulations and guidelines.


Requirements


  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • 3+ years (s) experience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatric nursing.
