On-the-Job Training**

Must reside near a Mercy Facility in the State of Arkansas

**This position requires a minimum of 2-3 weeks of on-site training prior to transitioning to work from home.

Overview:

Responsible for all phases of authorization and pre-certification. Provides updates to patients/offices regarding authorization status. Utilizes medical knowledge when responding to payer queries. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values , and Mercy service standards.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Must have either a current RN or LPN license in the state of Arkansas
• Preferred Experience: Knowledge of medication prior authorizations; experience with insurance website portals
• Certifications: CPR required; other certification required according to department policy
