Night Shift - 700 PM - 700 AM


This position works every 3rd weekend and holiday.

Education


  • Diploma from an RN program.


License(s)/Certification(s)


  • Within 6 months of hire, must acquire and maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
  • Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
  • Must maintain annual unit specific educational requirements as specific educational requirements as specified by Nurse Manager.

Night Shift 645 PM - 715 AM


(The RN Maternal Lead will rotate between campuses in order to Foster Unity and help to decrease silos and will manage up each campus to ensure that teamwork is supported. The RN Maternal Lead will respond to the unit of greatest need and, if need be, they will switch between campuses during their scheduled shift.)

  • Assists with scheduling, Kronos time keeping, staff development, and education as well as direct patient care.
  • Ensures the daily organization of the department by helping to manage, coordinate, plan, and evaluate nursing procedures and personnel in the delivery of patient care, in coordination with the Nurse Manager.
  • Physcially round on each unit throughout their shift.
  • Assists with staffing of the units and acts as a division resource to the staff.


Education


  • Diploma from an RN program


Experience


  • Minimum of 2 years of Obstetrical/Pediatric nursing experience.


License(s)/Certification(s)


  • Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
  • Must obtain and maintain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Must obtain and maintain ACLS or PALS
