This is a Flexi / PRN position with day shift hours!

Position has minimum of 4 hours per week with the opportunity to work additional hours!

This position requires in person health screenings and vaccine clinics to Charlottesville, VA and surrounding areas

Applicants must be located within Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Roanoke VA or surrounding area!

Job Requirements:

• Health Prevention/ Health Education experience Preferred
• Experience working with Diabetes or Cardiac Risk patients strongly preferred
• 3 years of Nursing Experience
• RN License (Virginia or Compact State)
• Community Nursing Experience preferred
• RN Degree - Associates, or Bachelors

Primary responsibilities include:

• Responsible for both individual and group education to promote core health improvement programs including smoking cessation, adult immunizations, heart health, cancer prevention and detection, and wise self-care
• Current knowledge of regional preventive health issues, managed care health improvement initiatives, and a variety of health improvement strategies is required
