Rn, Cardiac Quality Improvement Coordinator

Sentara Heart Hospital located on the campus of Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a RN, Cardiac Quality Improvement Coordinator

This position is Full Time Days

Responsibilities:

• RN, Quality Improvement Coordinator ensures care standards and quality key perform indicators.
• Must have good understanding of accreditation, regulatory and federal and state standards.
• Will collaborate closely with unit managers, infection control, safety and ethics providing clinical best practices, process improvement and infection prevention regarding quality.
• Strong data management and dashboard monitoring experience. Presents data and prepares presentations for leadership.
• Candidate must know and understand CMS Star Rating, Leapfrog Safety, and Quality Metrics on a state and national basis.
• Quality Improvement Coordinator reviews events for initiative-taking risk assessment, works on the quality action plan, assists team in developing process improvement, and writes policy.

Education/Experience/Licensure:

RN License

BSN is required.

3 years of quality experience preferred.
