Revenue Cycle Specialist Jobs

Position Overview/Responsibilities:

• Perform insurance eligibility and benefit verification
• Call/Utilize payer portal to work an aging report
• Utilize Athena to update providers credentialing status
• Research and resolve rejected and denied claims
• Complete & submit EDI, EFT & ERA Enrollments
• Resolve unpostables, missing remit or payment

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in professional medical billing/collections, known as Medicare Part B Billing
• 2+ years of experience with medical coding
• 2+ years of experience in setting up EDI, EFT & ERAs
• 3+ years of experience with Athena Billing System
• 2+ years of experience with insurance follow-up/working denied claims
• 2+ years experience verifying patient insurance eligibility & billing
