Retail Grocery Customer Service Staff

:

• Other duties as assigned.
• Provides premier customer service, including greeting customers, answering their questions, and resolving issues.
• Maintains the cash office and equipment.
• Answers and directs telephone calls.
• Coordinates operations on the front-end to ensure premier service for our customers.
• Performs daily bookkeeping procedures such as balancing and reconciling cash drawers, maintains office accountability and prepares deposits.
• Handles money services such as check cashing, lottery, gift cards, money orders and Western Union transactions.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math problems.
• Prior experience in cash handling and basic accounting in a retail environment.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
• Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking.
