$50-60k As a Retail Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for studying store builds, then creating environmental graphics that will enhance stores’ functionality while informing the consumer of who we are. This will include designing and producing two and three-dimensional graphics for the interior and exterior of the stores. We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated and creative, who is proficient in design software and can help us push and refine our style, and who can execute graphics at a high level. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities (How You’ll Do It): Work with the Senior Retail Graphic Designer to do the following: Create seasonal campaign graphics for installation in stores. Create permanent retail graphics and display concepts for Cotopaxi retail stores. Prepare designs for production, fabrication and installation. Coordinate with print partners as needed to execute designs. Design graphic maps for installers. Apply signage and graphics to interior and exterior surfaces to assist and enhance wayfinding. Job Deliverables (What You’ll Achieve): Design Fall 2023 campaign’s in-store graphics. Collaborate with the Creative and Retail teams to design concepts for upwards of ten new retail stores this year across the United States from Washington to Massachusetts. The Ideal Candidate (What You Need to Succeed): You have an Undergraduate Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. You have 3-5 years of design experience under your belt. You ideally have experience working for a direct-to-consumer eCommerce business. You have a knowledge of signage printing and digital output. You are proficient in relevant software: Adobe CC, Sketchup, etc. You have experience in environmental design and a proficiency working with different sign materials. You can execute concepts quickly and at a very high level. You can communicate effectively to pitch your ideas. You understand the relationships between images and words; you don’t let “pretty” design get in the way of communicating a message. You are a builder who can help us develop stronger processes and design strategies. You are positive and can collaborate with stakeholders from across the company to produce quality results.
