The Residential Lending Team is seeking a Residential Loan Processor II to be responsible for the processing of residential conventional first mortgage loans limited to refinances. Timely and thorough communication and coordination to resolve any issues creating delays of closing. Your day might include:
  • Providing status updates to Loan Officers, borrowers and realtors
  • Assessing initial loan files for missing documentation and assists the loan officer with follow-up with member and/or realtor
  • Providing the initial loan quality review for Home Loan Consultants; providing a feedback loop and training as needed
  • Checking debt ratios and loan to value ratios; verifying accuracy of AUS findings and program applicability
  • Assisting with clearing loan conditions prior to requesting closing documents and submitting loan file for initial and final underwriting approval
  • Communicating potential issues with member and co-workers to expedite processing, underwriting and closing
  • Ordering and reviewing third party documentation, including credit checks, title reports, appraisals, flood certifications, tax returns, verifications of employment/assets, to identify and address potential issues
  • Entering loan data in Loan Origination Systems and uploading supporting documents to the imaging system
  • Contacting members to confirm closing disclosure prior to clear to close
  • Verifying and updating accuracy of data input into LOS system
  • Reviewing and verifying documentation integrity to ensure it aligns with findings, completeness, and compliance; submitting loan file to underwriting for approval
What you bring to the team:
  • Current working understanding of FNMA or FHLMC guidelines required
  • High level of initiative to produce accurate work in a high pressured, fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Experience accounting skills and knowledge to calculate debt ratios and loan repayment schedules
  • Proficient in standardized software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex mortgage loan file scenarios
  • Two (2) years of experience in residential lending
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to professionally communicate with staff and membership
  • Ability to obtain NMLS registration
  • Excellent computer skills, conceptual, analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Experience and efficiency with loan origination systems and real estate calculators
  • Analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail

Competitive pay: $23.51 - $35.26 per hour, depending on applicable qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package
  • The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.
  • The target range for qualified new hires is typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant’s pay history into account.
Where we’re located: 330 Union Ave SE Olympia, WA 98501. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a work from home/hybrid position with the exception of occasional on-site training, meetings and specific organization events. Works onsite one (1) occasion per month
When you’d work: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, full time minimum 40 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility required to meet branch needs
