Damar Services is looking for a talented and motivated Residential Interventions Specialist to join our team. The Residential Interventions Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to billing, clinical quality review, and intake support. Assists the treatment teams, including the Director, Behavioral Health Services, Stabilization and Treatment team, Outpatient team, and other members as designated, in the evaluation of clinical services.   • Tracking client admissions and discharges and billing for SAT/CNPCC, IBI, and Outpatient services.
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Damar Operational Policies and Procedures Manual.
  • Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned.
  • Creating new TOOLs monthly for SAT/CNPCC, IBI, and Outpatient services.
  • Completes incident reports, including reporting any suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect of a client.
  • Performs 11 services match and updates to billing tool for GSCI.
  • Reporting outpatient billing to accounting department.
  • Maintains clinical prior authorization.
  • Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices and service delivery.
  • Establish and maintain effective lines of communication with representatives of agency payers DCS, Medicaid, Choices, and available private insurance.
  • Collaborates with Accounting regarding accurate client billing.


What you need to be considered…


  • Experience preferred working with clinical documentation requirements, prior authorization processes, including DCS, Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance companies.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Must meet and maintain background screening requirements of program(s) assigned to.
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Experience in social work or counseling preferred.
  • Valid Indiana driver's license and good driving record.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred; preferably in social work, psychology, counseling or applicable discipline.
  • No felony convictions or other criminal offenses involving a dependent population.

Physical Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
