Residential Electricians Jobs

A.M. Sun Solar is looking to hire Residential Electricians. Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and master all aspects of their position.

SUMMARY

Residential Electricians are capable of troubleshooting and diagnosing operational issues, performing complex wiring installations, and Installing/upgrading main panels and sub-panels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with engineering/design team to resolve technical issues
• Develop positive and professional relationships with customers as well as employees
• Perform maintenance and service tasks for solar customers
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Install Tesla Powerwalls
• Maintain compliance with all A.M. Sun Solar policies and practices
• Complete quality assurance inspections, documenting corrective actions, and ensuring completion of corrective items with reasonable timelines
• Install critical load sub-panels and reroute critical load circuits
• Install a wide range of battery backup systems
• Provide on-site troubleshooting for electrical systems
• Perform main panel and sub-panel upgrades
• Identify solutions to resolve technical design problems, including electrical systems used during construction

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2+ years of electrical experience required
• Project a professional appearance
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Residential/General Electrician experience
• Tesla battery installation experience preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of NEC code

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and drive for up to 8 hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs – assistance may be provided for oversized items
• Work postures include reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, bending, twisting, climbing and handling objects above/below the shoulders
