Resident Services Coordinator / Independent Living Facility


NeighborCare of Chapel Hill, a proud member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is a brand-new Independent Living Facility in the Chapel Hill area of Indianapolis, IN. Our independent living community offers several lifestyle options for active adults and is committed to promoting good health in a neighborly atmosphere.


NeighborCare is recruiting for the key position of Resident Services Coordinator. This is a full time position, that works Monday - Friday, from 9:30 am - 5:30 pm.


Mission Statement


The position of Resident Services Coordinator is an in-residence coordinator of resident services, activities, events, and processes within the building who provides excellent customer service to ensure maximum occupancy and resident retention.


Job Duties And Responsibilities


  • Serves as a point of contact for residents, their visitors, and their families and communicates regularly with management regarding maintenance, building, and resident issues
  • Coordinates Service Requests
  • Assists in Maintaining Safe and Secure Environment
  • Monitors Vacant Apartments, Amenities, Common Areas, Building, and Grounds
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Help coordinate volunteers and special services to the residents.
  • Help assist with activities, give support the residents, getting engage with resident on campus.
  • Serves as a Resident Advocate and Social Coordinator for our residents
  • Assists in Operations of Business Office
  • The responsibilities of the Resident Services Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
  • Document attendance of resident monthly activities and volunteers hours.
  • Assist with moved in or move out of residents, collecting monthly rent from residents.
  • Promotes Resident Assimilation


Qualifications And Skills


  • Must understand: Power point, Excel, Outlook, spread sheet, basic accounting skills,
  • Senior Living experience a plus
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • 3-5 years experience in an administrative, management, clerical, or related goal
