JOB SUMMARY Reservoir Engineer is responsible for day-to-day reservoir management activities supporting both operated and non-operated assets. The role is a key member BKV’s subsurface teams across its oil & gas and carbon capture and storage (CCS) assets. This position applies practical knowledge in the work area. Usually works independently under general supervision and requires the ability to influence others in the work area by explaining facts, policies, and practices. The problems faced are difficult but generally not complex.

RESPONSIBILITIES The job responsibilities of the corporate accountant include: Conduct reservoir characterization studies. Design and implement reservoir development plans. Perform reservoir simulation and modeling. Monitor and analyze reservoir performance Reservoir characterization of BKV’s oil & gas and CCS reservoirs, Analytical/numerical reservoir modeling. Reserves estimation. Production and injection forecasting. Type curve generation. Asset development and depletion planning. Economic analysis. Scientific Studies. Document compression projects reservoir performance Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements.

REQUIRED SKILLS Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, including regulatory requirements, trends, emerging issues, and operating processes strongly preferred. Understanding/ of reservoir engineering principles, practices, and standards. Advanced knowledge of specific technical is a plus and cash flow modeling. Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, and data analytics tools and technologies. Experience with Harmony, Smartsheet, and Power BI is a plus. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team. Interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills

Continuous learning and adaptability skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree required in engineering or a related discipline. Master’s degree in engineering or business Administration preferred. A professional engineering (PE) qualification is highly desirable. Minimum of three (3) years of experience with one (1) year in reservoir engineering, preferably in the natural gas sector including working with refracturing horizontal shale wells, recompletions, and other types of restimulations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS Indoor working environment that requires the ability to perform repetitive motions and operate standard office equipment.

May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise level while sharing office space with others. Hybrid of indoor & outdoor working environments, depending on assignment. Requires ability to perform repetitive motions, operate standard office equipment, potentially stand for long periods of time, and engage in frequent pending, stopping, pushing, and lifting items more than 20lbs.

SALARY RANGE $114,000 to $172,000 per year STIP target of 25%
