Research Data Specialist ($25/Hour)

Description And Requirements
Note: As part of WCG's purpose-driven workplace policy, this role is remote, however it may require an in-office presence for specific purposes or events, such as the initial 2-week new hire training, team building, collaboration sessions, business reviews, etc. For this reason, we are only seeking candidates who live within a commutable distance to either our Puyallup, WA or Cary, NC offices.

As a Research Data Specialist on our team, you will play a major role in helping to advance clinical research. Specifically, you will process clinical trial documents and prepare them for regulatory and medical review. This entails a high volume of data entry plus proofing, analyzing, and modifying documents using word processing systems and databases.
Ideal candidates will bring 2+ years of experience working in an administrative support and data entry role where attention to detail is of utmost importance. You will have prior experience working in a metrics driven environment. If this sounds like you, then we would love to speak with you!
Qualifications/Experience

• Demonstrated team player who is self-initiated to take on different roles/responsibilities and can work well in groups
• Be able to thrive and learn in a remote environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills required
• Ability to problem solve and help identify ways to continuously improve processes to exceed customer needs
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while being part of a dynamic team
• Attention to detail skills required. Must take pride in work product results
• Knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently
• Driven by curiosity and willingness to learn and receive feedback to incorporate in future processing
• Has been accountable to meet individual performance metrics
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
