Solar Development - Project Manager
Position Specific Description
Directly impact Atwell’s goal of aggressively growing renewable assets across the United States. In this position, you will lead renewable energy projects from beginning to end, including overseeing cross-functional teams across the Atwell organization. You will be working with leadership within Atwell, in order to drive origination and business development efforts directly impacting the client’s growth targets and bottom line.
Beyond the requirements below, you will also be responsible for presenting your projects and updates to develop leadership and providing your input and expertise on a daily basis to SMEs as the project leader of a collaborative and dynamic team. You will travel across our sites extensively and be given the chance to dive into the process and progression of new and existing projects.

Job Overview
Employees in this role develop and execute plans for new or enhanced solar generation projects. This job is responsible for resource allocation, schedules, cost, and technical adequacy, ensuring the project is completed in the most cost-effective manner. This position manages all aspects of the business deal and ensures the project is completed on time and within budgetary constraints.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
- Fosters external relationships with the client, third parties, and members of the community
- Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting, and interconnection
- Manages all aspects of the day-to-day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as cost-effective and competitive results
- Leads and coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, and permitting activities
- Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
- Negotiates agreements with consultants and subcontractors
Required Qualifications
- Solar Generation Experience
- Experience dealing with utility-scale projects of 5 Mega Watts or higher or behind-the-meter Commercial/Industrial projects.
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 6+ years of Project Management
