Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Are you an experienced Pharmacist looking for their next role in a work from home capacity. Our client is seeking a knowledgeable local Pharmacist in Hawaii for their Prior Authorization team. Please see below for the position details
Summary about the Job/ Layman’s Terms:
The clinical Pharmacist is an operation based role that conducts clinical reviews of medical data collected to perform prior authorization for specialty medications. The clinical pharmacist will apply clinical knowledge to plan approved criteria for prospective and concurrent reviews of cases. Take inbound calls from physician or members regarding their pending, approved, or denied prior authorizations.
Schedule Details

• Training time: 8am to 4:30pm CST (Central Standard Time)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (highly extendable)
• Shift start time: 8am - 5:00pm HST (flexible start times)
• Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday schedules
• Training dates: August 28th - September 6th, 2023;

Compensation / Benefits:

• Pay: $65.31/hr (Set Rate for PA Team)
• Medical, Life & Vision insurance Offering
• Remote training and work from home schedule

Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications

• Must be computer literate – knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Licensed Registered Pharmacist in Hawaii
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D.
• Knowledge of Access, Power Point, and Visio is preferable.
