Location/Division Specific Information

Unity Lab Services (ULS) provides a single source for integrated lab service, support, and supply management. Our customized service offerings and premier service experts have the flexibility and experience to uniquely address our customer’s laboratory's business needs.

This is position is 100% remote.

How will you make an impact?

The position is focused primarily on scientific support services within our core offerings of order entry, order management, and operating customer procurement systems.

What you will do:

  • Proactively communicates with supervisor any customer concerns and/or potential problems
  • Use Thermo Fisher Scientific's or customer's inventory/order management electronic systems to perform the following activities: on-site program replenishments and disbursements, receiving, and expediting, customer service call resolution, product returns, and backorder processing
  • Listens to customer concerns, effectively addresses issues with a goal of resolution within established timeframe
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Supports process improvement activities
  • Follow work processes as outlined by our written procedures

How you will get here:

  • Displays a high level of confidentiality for both customer and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
  • Efficient intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Possesses the organizational skills to multi-task, manage time, and meet SLAs
  • Operating skills to enter data in various systems as needed.
  • Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ 4i Values.
  • Must deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • 1-2 years of progressive proven experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrates a strong desire to serve the customer and the interpersonal skills to connect with various levels of personnel.
  • Requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English is required
