Ethics and Public Policy Center is seeking a highly organized and
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and complying with HIPAA regulations.
- Collecting and organizing medical records from healthcare providers and other sources.
- Maintaining accurate and organized paper and electronic filing systems.
- Inputting data into electronic medical records systems.
- Responding to requests for medical records from healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies.
- Ensuring that all records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient medical histories, examinations, treatments, and other information.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Medical records certification or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
