Job Description
We are seeking an outgoing individual for our Remote Event Advisor opportunity! As an Advisor, you will be responsible for booking amazing trips for corporate and leisure clients in destinations all around the world! This position is great for anyone who absolutely loves to go places and help others with planning. Remote Event Advisors handle the research and booking process for clients. This can include airline, hotel accommodations, car rentals, and event/ticket sales. Anyone with an outgoing personality, who loves to travel we advise you to apply.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Monitor restrictions on travel that come and go
  • Provide suggested budgets for clients
  • Review individuals needs and wants for travel, to ensure you can cater a trip specially designed to meet their needs
  • Handle issues that may arise during the bookings and/or travel for clients
  • Research, Create, and Execute exceptional itineraries for clients
  • Effectively communicate with clients pre/post travel
  • Complete ongoing training to earn and maintain certification to book vacations
  • Become an ambassador for the brand
  • Review budgets, and plan trips according to clients budget constraints
  • Participate in FAM trips when possible.
  • Promptly respond to all travel inquires
  • Stay up to date on changes within the tourism industry
  • Book travel needs (airline, car rental, hotel accommodations, cruise, ticket/event sales, etc…)
  • Maintain up to date information within our software
  • Network with tour operators regarding packages that you can possibly offer to clients
  • Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers, to become specialized with specific destinations
  • Work along side of other team members
  • Effectively manage your time when researching trips and communicating with clients
  • Create promotional materials to utilize


Requirements


  • Must be at least 18years of age, and be authorized to work within the US.
  • Must have a smartphone with internet access, laptop recommend but not required
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Personal travel experience is a huge plus, however not required
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality also a plus, but not required
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with clients ( sales background a plus)
