Remote Actuarial Analyst Jobs

We have openings for a Remote Actuary role with a large Managed Care Organization. Must be available to come into the office for quarterly meetings (Charlotte, NC).
The Actuary will gather and analyze data about claims, events, and other items as requested by the organization. They will use computer software, databases, models, spreadsheets, and other technology to compile the data and assess the financial risks and other potential outcomes including those related to population health efforts. The Actuary will also serve as a subject matter expert to consultants and explain data and outcomes prepared by the consultants.
REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business or related field from an accredited college/university
• Skilled in Excel
• Ability to diagnose, research, analyze and resolve issues
• 2+ years of experience in actuarial services or substantially related finance work.
• Knowledge of healthcare and/or managed care industry
• Knowledge of business and financial concepts
• Knowledgeable in Healthcare Claims data processing data

HOURS OF THIS POSITION:

• Monday- Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM

SALARY:

• $62K to $106K
