What You’ll Do:

• Scan and save banking and investment statements
• Performs basic accounting activities as needed to file and track reinsurance reports
• Assist the front desk with check deposits and record in HRP
• Research addresses for returned checks
• Assist Billing and Enrollment with the reconciliation of credit card deposits
• Track and maintain returned checks, regularly send void requests on checks that are beyond stale date
• Maintains confidentiality and trustworthiness in working with confidential information
• Ability to recognize and appeal detrimental decisions made by reinsurance
• Organizes the preparation of monthly and annual reports and ensures reinsurance information has been recorded accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist AP & Accounting as needed
• Performs routine reinsurance clerical duties such as maintaining records, processing and verifying new business

Required Education/Experience:

• Associates degree in accounting or other related field OR a minimum of one year of experience in accounts payable, payroll or other related position
• Prior health plan/health insurance preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel

• The pay range is $ 19.97-$23.72 an hour
