Job Details:


The purpose of this position is to help patients get access to the medications and therapies that they need. This role works directly with healthcare providers & insurance plans/payers to gather information about a patient’s insurance and the coverage provided for a specific pharmaceutical product. This role will support the healthcare providers addressing questions regarding coding and billing and navigating complex reimbursement issues. This position also provides support for Prior Authorizations for an assigned caseload and helps navigate the appeals process to access medications.


  • Start Date: The entire new team will start together on 10/2/23
  • Location: 9400 Southpark Center Loop, Orlando, FL, 32819 - enjoy our beautiful new and modern facility!
  • Schedule Requirements: Post training schedules begin November 6th, openings are as follows based on availability: (8am-5pm ET, 9am-6pm ET, 10am-7pm ET, 11am-8pm ET)
  • Training: Onsite 4-6 weeks, 9:30-5:30pm ET (paid lunch hour during training)
  • Work from home: The opportunity to work from home will be made available after 120 days of post training based upon goals and quotas being met at the discretion of the manager
  • Compensation: $19/hr-$23/hr - Top pay will be offered to candidates with ophthalmology and buy and bill experience

Requirements


  • 2 to 5 years of benefit investigation involving the analysis and interpretation of insurance coverage
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and grammar
  • Preferable: experience with buy & bill insurance process
  • Salesforce system experience preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers in regard to health insurance plan requirements
  • In-depth understanding and experience with Major Medical & Pharmacy Benefit Coverage
