Harborview Medical Center,is looking for Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our leadership team.

Who we are looking for a leader who understands:
  • Administers and implements the program’s mandate.
  • Operations supports activities and special projects to implement a work plan.
  • Sustainable framework to ensure continuous readiness for regulatory activities, with emphasis on risk-based priorities.

    This position serves as an expert resource and partner on:
  • Accreditation.
  • Hospital licensure.
  • Department of health requirements.
  • Healthcare regulations and standards.

    Some of what you will do:
  • Communicating with senior and executive leadership teams regarding all regulatory and accreditation requirements at both state and national levels.
  • Education of frontline staff and leadership regarding regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Hospital wide change manager transformation leadership to help drive institution to accept and meet required regulation and accreditation.
  • Maintains the most up to date current knowledge as it comes out from, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), The Join Commission (TJC) and Department of Health (DOH)

  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher
  • Nine or more years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Inpatient hospital settings acute or critical care.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with Health Care professionals across the hospital.
  • Time management.
  • Adherence to regulatory and accreditation bodies.

    Nice to have’s:
  • Clinical skills and abilities in process analysis, organization and attention to detail.
  • Prioritizing and multitasking in a dynamic healthcare environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.)
  • Proficient in EMR systems
  • Desired Master in Healthcare Administration
