Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Regulatory Affairs Manager.
We have been retained to lead a search for a Regulatory Affairs expert who will be among the first of a few key hires to help drive the expansion of a global European infant formula company!
Our client is a globally recognized European brand, known for their full range of baby – to – toddler formula and food products. The Regulatory Affairs Manager will take part in a dynamic trailblazing initiative to bring the first FDA-approved European infant formula brand to the US.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Vetting and approval of all public materials, including labelling.
- Establish the framework for the provision of strategic advice and recommendations on legislative development in line with business requirements. Lead and drive the active communication to influence governing legislation and accepted business practice.
- Ensure compliance of product, ingredients, and claims.
- Build and maintain critical relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders both internally and externally. Special focus on regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to the development of company’s positions on global food regulatory issues.
- Develop, implement, and ensure the execution of the company’s Regulatory Strategy, policy, and guidelines, in line with principles and policies set within the company strategy and commercial deliverables.
- Advocacy to pursue company’s positions on food law and policy, and build reputation as IF- and ingredient producer (to industry groups, government agencies etc)
- Perform horizon scanning in order to ensure compliance of company’s business and products, with all aspects of Food Law.
- Supply regulatory support for safety files and clinical trials/protocols in order to support R&D.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully building and managing a team of professionals.
- 5+ years of experience in regulatory affairs environment in nutrition industry.
- Degree in Food Technology or Science, Human Nutrition, Health & Nutrition, or equivalent discipline.
- Excellent knowledge of US and Canada Food Law - Regulations.
- Based in greater Boston or ability to relocate (relocation provided)
