Provides nursing services for patient care in the company working closely with doctors, specialists and other care team members or providers to obtain the highest quality of care . Under medical supervision, Registered Nurse assist physicians in the delivery of healthcare services; Responsible to collect patient information from the entrance, support patient evaluation and administering treatments, medications , text, exams or education as needed. . Collaboration with Physicians at the clinic and other health care professionals is also required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General Responsibilities:

a. Assist patients to complete medical history forms and prepares patients for examination and treatment by physician.

b. Perform triage on patient asking patients questions about current symptoms, medical histories, and medications to provide doctors with a complete understanding of a patient’s current medical needs and background

c. Identify patient’s chief complaint and records pertinent information in patient’s permanent medical record.

d. Identify gaps in care; provide education to patient and caregiver on importance to close the gaps.

e. Conduct preliminary tests such as blood pressure and respiratory checks vital signs, measurements as height and weight and records them in the EMH – structure data.

f. Conduct tests and procedures as directed, such as EKG’s, non-stress tests, spirometer, venipuncture, skin punctures, strep screen, glucometer, and urine tests.

g. Communicate to physician abnormal findings.

h. Create harmonious environment to provide emotional and psychological support to the patients and their families. Uses a holistic approach.

i. Document all phone calls with patients.

j. Help doctors develop treatment plans and strategies according with screening or and assessments such as, clinical proceduires, preventive care), referrals and care coordination ;

k. Discuss treatment plans with multidisciplinary care team as applicable.

l. Provide direct care to patients, including administering medication or treatments as ordered by the physician. This may include ange the dressing on a wound, apply vaccines and topical treatments, or administer medication via intravenous methods or direct injection

m. Prepare equipment or other instruments for a doctor or assist with procedures during a patient’s stay

n. Ensure that facilities are clean and prevent the spread of disease by sanitizing and maintaining equipment

o. Follow proper disposal procedures for potentially hazardous materials including needles and tubing and clean equipment that is used by multiple patients within the facility

p. Follow up with patients to determine whether courses of treatment are effective and assess patients during follow-up appointments.

q. Provide careful observation of patients on initial and follow-up visits; may take note of changes in a patient’s overall health, recovery progression, and reactions to treatment, updating patient records to reflect new information. Also, report any problems or potential issues that they observe directly to doctors

r. Interact with patients throughout the day and often liaise between patients, doctors, and patient representatives like family members

s. Educate patients’ families about the disease and its treatment.

t. Assists in the identification of psychosocial needs and address with appropriate care team or health care provider

u. Resolve patients’ problems and fulfill their requirements by applying multifaceted team strategy.

v. Transcribe doctors’ orders and prepares appropriate requisitions, forms as needed.

w. Perform calls to pharmacy. Daily follow up of pharmacy messages.

x. Notify patient of any change ordered by the physician.

y. Ensure Physician signs charts, labs, prescriptions, diagnostics daily.

z. Maintain patient flow after check in.

aa. Discuss patient flow with physician according to urgency and daily patient load.

bb. Maintains hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with the healthcare procedures.

cc. Checks equipment stock on a regular basis for maintaining the inventory level, and placing orders if required in order to maintain medical supply inventory

dd. Comply with office policies and procedures, OSHA Standards and HIPAA Privacy Regulations as stated in HIPAA Policy and Procedure Manual.
