$10,000 Sign On Bonus


We are looking for a Registered Nurse to render good nursing care and assistance to patients assigned to the unit; assists in supervising auxiliary personnel, responsible for helping maintain accurate patient records according to nursing home policy.


Job Position


Assist the supervisor by participation in all activities of nursing service to ensure great resident care.


Required Qualifications


The Registered Nurse must possess:


  • Graduate of Registered School of Nursing
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Skilled Nursing Home LTC: 1 year (Preferred)


Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Observes emotional stability of patients, express interest in their progress and (prepares them for continuing care after discharge).
  • Performs other duties as directed or required.
  • Takes vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gage progress of the patient.
  • Assumes responsibility for promoting healthy relationships among co-workers, other departments, patients, families, and visitors.
  • Perform other duties as may be required to insure a high level of patient safety.
  • Prepares equipment and assists the physician during treatments or examinations.
  • Assumes responsibility for her professional growth and development through participation in in-service programs and by attending staff meetings.
  • Schedule attendants for patient care and continuous in-service education.
  • Observes, records and reports to supervisor or physician, patients’ condition, reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
  • Performs nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of the patient.
  • Maintains patients’ medical record on nursing observation and action taken, such as medications and treatments given, reactions, tests, intake, and emission of liquids and solids, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Records nursing needs of patient on nursing care plan to assure continuity of care.
  • Be conservative of supplies and equipment.
  • Evaluates on a regular basis, nursing assistants on unit.
  • Assist the supervisor by participation in all activities of nursing service to insure good patient care.
  • Know your Fire, Safety, and Disaster Manual.
  • Administers prescribed medications, orally and by injections.
  • Explains procedures and treatments ordered to gain patients’ cooperation and allay apprehension.
  • It is the responsibility of all staff nurses to participate in the orientation of new personnel.
  • Changes or assists the physician in changing dressings, cleaning wounds and incisions.
  • Must report to on-coming nurse at the change of each shift. Also, must check narcotics with on-coming nurse, if applicable.
  • Responsible for instruction to patients or their families when discharged home.
  • When in charge of a unit assume the full responsibilities of the charge nurse, some of the specific duties involved are:


Full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical/religious exemption is required. (boosters are not mandated at this time)


Salary/ Wage Range


Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
