Job Description
PeopleReady Hickory is looking for a 1st shift Refill Receiving associate for a leading converter and distributor of nonwoven and woven fabrics used in a variety of markets in the Conover, NC area.

Pay Rate


The pay rate for this job is $16 / Hour


What You'll Be Doing As a Refill Receiving Associate


  • All associates have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions and participate in continuous improvement process and verify the implementation of solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
  • Tag freight.
  • Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds.
  • Write up orders.
  • All associates have the responsibility to identify and stop further processing of non-conformances and take action to prevent non-conformances related to products produced, processes, services provided or the Quality/Environmental Management System.
  • Pull stock using proper equipment.
  • Load trucks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
  • Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
  • Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures.

Shift timings -1st Shift (Day)


Job Requirements


  • Background check and Drug test required
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Must be able to follow verbal & written Work Instructions.
  • Commitment to Management System and Continual Improvement process.
  • Must be able to operate lift trucks.
  • Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
