Recovery Support Staff Jobs

The Position Live Free Recovery Services is hiring Full Time Recovery Support Technicians for our Keene location. The shifts we are hiring for are 2nd and 3rd shift. As a Recovery Support Technician, you will observe the behavior of clients, monitor clients throughout non-clinical hours, and report to the clinical staff and management. The main priority of a Recovery Support Technician is to make sure that the clients remain safe at all times.

Responsibilities

· Observe and report client issues outside of clinical hours.

· Apply collaborative problem-solving approach with daily and routine interaction with clients.

· Assist clients with activities of daily living, personal care, & comfort measures.

· Interact with clients and their families (if necessary) in a therapeutic manner to improve social skills aligned with their treatment goals.

· Provide compassionate and nurturing support to clients without judgement

· Conduct random UA drug tests and follow established procedures per request of the Director of Operations or the Clinical Director.

· Ensure house is aesthetically appropriate, inside and out, including monitoring the completion of client chores. Understanding of the responsibilities of running a house.

· Working with clients on the importance of good nutrition, exercise and living a quality lifestyle while in transitional living.

· Light cleaning and maintenance

Working Conditions

· Full-time, 40+ hours per week

· Shifts may fall on weekends and/or holidays

· Must be available by phone after hours

· Must be available to communicate with clients during times of stress

· Must be able to separate personal issues with work issues to ensure healthy relationships with client, understanding, following and enforcing appropriate boundaries
