Job Description
RECORDS UNIT ADMINISTRATOR - $96,861 - Screening July 11, 2023 - Open Until Filled.


Manage the functions and staff of the police department records unit. This is accomplished by overseeing NIBRS/UCR reporting; supervising the police reporting process and licensing services; supervising offender registration and history files; monitoring policies and procedures; assisting with the annual operating budget; supervising the release of public records and acting as liaison with other departments and outside agencies.


Requirements


  • LEADS, States Attorney General FOIA Certification preferred.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and over five years up to and including seven years progressively responsible related experience required.
