Remote Work: Eligible

Purpose of Position: Analyze and extrapolate information from a credit file to make a sound credit decision. Approve loans in accordance with established Credit Union policies and procedures and/or an Investor who may purchase or insure the loan—FannieMae, FHA, VA, MSHDA and/or Rural Housing at the present time.

Minimum Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred or the equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

Experience: Five or more years of credit union or financial institution in mortgage lending capacity highly preferred with experience in mortgage processing and/or underwriting. Knowledge of Windows 7 and Office 2007. Knowledge of FNMA Guidelines with the use of DU technology.
